The Asia-Pacific Forum on Sustainable Development (APFSD) will soon take place on 27-29 March 2019 at the UNCC in Bangkok with the theme Empowering People and Ensuring Inclusiveness and Equality. The annual event is an intergovernmental forum to support the High-level political forum (HLPF) on sustainable development and provide a regional platform for supporting countries through capacity building toward the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. The event will also incorporate regional perspectives on the Agenda's implementation through identifying regional trends, sharing best practices and lessons learned, and supporting the follow-up and review of regional-level progress of the Agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals.

This year, the Urban SDG Knowledge Platform will be participating in the Pavilion of Partnerships section of the forum and will be discussing best practices on the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
